The first charity Gala was organized by Ukraine and Ukrainians Abroad. The event was heartbreaking for all our team. The Gala was hosted at Golden Gate restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The entrance was free for all our guests. They had a possibility to buy all kinds of patriotic jewelry t-shirts, mugs, Ukrainian flags, etc from different vendors. All proceeds from sales were directed towards relief efforts for Ukraine. In the beginning, we were honored with a moment of silence to appreciate all the priceless lost lives to russian invasion. We sang along to the anthem that was performed by talented Anastasiya Petryk. 

Philadelphia Civil Rights Attorney Danny Ceiser, the speaker of congressman Brendon Bayle, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Philadelphia Iryna Mazur, and the Head of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America Olga Mychaluk had made a speech to the guests of the Gala. 

Moreover, there were many other performances by many talented singers and dancers, who were able to touch many hearts that night. Kazka Band, who was the headliner of an event, made many feel sorry for Ukrainians, and sang legendary songs. She also was calling out to our guests to keep helping Ukraine, and dropping World’s attention to russian War in Ukraine. The World shouldn’t forget about Ukraine, Ukrainians never forgive russia for its aggression. 

We are entirely grateful to all our volunteers for doing really hard work for The Dala and to make all our guests feel welcomed and happy. We are thankful for all our guest’s generous donations and for putting their trust in our team and keep supporting our Motherland - Ukraine.
